CAR Buyer magazine survey says luxury cars lose £20,000 in depreciation
over the first six months.
Executive cars lost 23% of their value in the first six months, equating to £25 a day, or £4,573 over the period and small family cars depreciated by some 36%, losing £22 a day or £3,920 over the half-year. For superminis, the magazine says the loss is 28%, equating to £12 a day or £2,321. It names the slowest to depreciate as New Mini, Nissan 350Z, Volvo XC90, Smart Pure, Toyota RAV-4, Mercedes E-Class diesel, Seat Alhambra, Porsche Boxster, Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf. |
